Privacy and feature information
Public beta · Updated October 17, 2026
Emergency limitations
SSS does not automatically contact 911 or police, send alerts, record audio, monitor missed check-ins or confirm that help is coming. If you need emergency assistance, contact 911 when safe. Free SOS opens message preparation only.
What stays in this page
Safety-plan answers, contact details and check-in agreements stay in the open tool and are cleared when it closes or you leave. They are not saved to your account or sent to our database. ZIP filtering happens in your browser. Your messaging app can keep drafts and sent messages after you choose to open it.
Accounts and service records
Supabase handles account authentication and stores account and membership records. PayPal handles subscription information. Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs. Account sessions are configured to stay in memory, rather than persist in this website’s browser storage. This does not make a shared or monitored device private.
Quick Exit and the demonstration code
Quick Exit leaves for Wikipedia. It does not erase browsing history, close other tabs, remove downloaded files or prevent device monitoring. Neutral pages still show this website’s address. The shared four-digit code is a demonstration, not a personal security lock. Public tools and sign-in pages can be opened directly. Use a safer device when possible.
Free and member features
SOS message preparation, basic Quick Exit, safety planning, check-in planning and general advocate links are free. The local-provider finder and four additional everyday pages require server-verified membership. The built-in local finder covers 37879 and 37825 plus national referrals; nationwide ZIP matching is not available. The survivor community is not open.
Membership and cancellation
New paid purchases remain closed. Creating an account does not purchase a subscription. The planned price is $10 USD monthly, without a trial or setup fee. Current access checks deny paid features when a subscription is canceled, expired, suspended or has an unresolved failed payment. Cancellation currently ends access immediately. Public purchase terms, refund policy and a verified cancellation support process must be finalized before paid launch.
Before full launch
The full privacy policy must identify the operator’s contact, record-retention schedule and account/data request process. Those details are not finalized here. This information describes current functionality; it is not a claim of complete privacy, guaranteed safety or launch readiness.
